Robbie - PM Training
Last time I posted about RW's night time training I totally jinxed it- we went back to square one for a week and a bit :( BUT, now it's been 3+ weeks so I think I'm in the clear to say that Robbie doesn't wear pull-up's anymore!!
His reward for having a weeks worth of dry nights was that Jedi gets to sleep with him. I often wonder if Jedi helps with it, this kid is such a deep sleeper but I think with Mr. Jedi on his bed he doesn't get into that deep of a sleep because Jedi keeps adjusting and relocating.
Whatever it may be, I'm so proud of my little man. He will be getting his Nintendo DS (for his bday) as part of our original deal :)

Kindergarten Update
FINALLY! We got the letter we've been anticipating, RW's Kinder schedule!
Little man will be going on Tues, Thurs and every other Friday (full days). He's in the same class as Abi (preschool and soccer buddy) and Elise (soccer buddy). There's also 2 other kids from his preschool class that will be there too!
I can't wait for this school year, this teacher is AWESOME! She sent a list of things we'll need and told us to include $10 to pay for a USB stick, she's going to put all of her pictures throughout the year on it so that we can have it digitally!! How cool is that?!!?

Little Lana
I'll never understand it. She's not cold to the touch but she's not roasting either. The thermostat reads 26 and I have the A/C pointed right me because the humidity in this sauna of a house is bonkers!
Lana's room has got to be 27 or 28 degrees - it's HOT. I grab the extra fan and put it on her change table aimed right at her bed, it's not doing much but circulating the hot air.. better than nothing, right? I suggest to Lana that she wear a pj Tshirt - no pants/shorts. She flat our refuses. She goes into her drawer and pulls out...get this... her winter flannel pj's. After pleading and trying to redirect she doesn't budge, she is set in her ways, she wants to sleep in her blue flannel pj's adorned with snow globes. I try and roll up the sleeves and pants - boy did she put me in my place. So I read her a story, do the good night routine & that's that. 2 mins later she comes out of her room. Why, you ask? She wants ... are you ready for this?!... to wear her knitted sweater that Nana made for her. I suggested taking off the top and then putting the sweater on, that was a bust.
So my daughter is fast asleep in her flannel snow globe pj's and knitted sweater while snuggling up to her knitted baby blanket. Do I need to send her a memo that Winter is still a ways away? It's July for Pete's sake!!!!
