Grandparents Day

Both kids got to show off their classroom to Nan and Grandpa, what a great idea! 

Translation: I see frost on the houses.

Translation: My Nan reads me a Avengers book and she could not do it 'cause the words are too hard.

Lana's First Field Trip!

We went to Prairie Gardens for some animal petting, corn maze, puppet show & play ground time. She had a blast, I can't believe how much her and Alyssa (Abi's younger sister) are attached to the hip - every time they see each other their voice bumps up an octave higher and they get so silly. They were both pretty bumbed that they weren't in the same group but they still managed to spend most of their time together.

This little guy was so soft and sweet. He didn't want to leave Lana's arms.

Mitchel, Lana & Quinn (Quinn is Evan's little brother, RW & Evan have been together since preschool and are on the same hockey team. Lana & Quinn have spent many hockey games chasing after each other!)

Lana

I am beyond impressed with our Little Lana. She draws some amazing pictures of herself, can write her name and "Mom" without assistance! This girl is so bright.

At her last cheerleading class her teacher came up to me and said "she's so smart!" I guess she's picking up the lingo and choreography quickly compared to the rest of the group.

Robbie's Grade 1 Class

It's that time again where Robbie is set to promote to the next level! This is the first time that his Grade One teacher has had to fill out the teacher form. This is one of the many reasons we love this TKD school, it's not only about how her preforms at school but also at home and school. His teacher wrote some wonderful comments - we're so proud of Robbie.

Our first parent teacher meeting isn't for a while so this is a nice glimpse as  to how he's doing.

On Wednesday I got to help out in the classroom and I am floored at the difference a year has made! He doesn't need to be at the front of the line, he's a great listener and he's forming proper sentences and writing them in his journal. I can't wait to see how much more he develops after this year, he should be a lean mean reading machine by the end!
