Knits

Dear Lana,

Summer is just 22 days away. Today it got up to 20 degrees. Tonight you went to bed with a Tshirt and PJ shorts, I tucked you in with your duvet covered with hearts but you said no... you wanted the big pink blanket Grammie knitted you. I read you a story, gave you a hug and kiss then said good night. Two minutes later I hear you crying, I run back in to your room to see what's wrong and you're beside yourself because you're trying to put on the sweater Nana made (knit) for you while you're lying down. I sat you up and helped you put it on, you settled down right away. I said my good night's again and you were out like a light.
My questions are: Are you going to wear sweaters when it's +32? How are you not roasting while you're running around and playing? And finally, what's up with the knits?!!?!

Hooray for my big boy!!!

We have been working on this for a year now, is it safe to say he's got it? I think so! We're waking him before bed to empty his bladder and he's waking up between 5-5:30 but if that means dry nights, I'LL TAKE IT! I love this little guy <3

Day 6

I know I'm jinxing it by blogging about it, but RW's had 6 dry nights! Last night he was able to have Jedi sleep in his room (which made for a VERY long night for me) and if he has one more dry night he gets this Sonic game that he picked out months ago. I'm super proud of him, I have never seen such a deep sleeper... this kid could sleep through an earthquake without flinching, seriously.

Keep your fingers crossed that we're on our way to a full-time undies boy!

1st Day at Soccer

He did fairly well! He was chasing after the ball and was able to steal the ball away a couple of times but the other team was SO good, these kids were doing moves that Beckham does (one boy went to deflect the ball from going into the net so he dove on his side and kicked it out of the way... what kind of a 4 or 5 year old knows how to do that?!!!?) Turns out these group of boys played together last summer and all winter in the indoor fields. It wasn't very fair but the kids still enjoyed themselves!
At the end of the video you can hear RW cheering for his girl, Abi(gail). They've been in preschool all year long together and now fate has it that they're on the same soccer team all summer long!

We have a school!

It's official, I got the letter last night, Robbie's been accepted into the NE Christian school! SUCH a relief knowing RW will be going to a familiar school with familiar faces!

RW starts soccer next Monday, his "girlfriend" Abi (from preschool) is on his team as her mom is the coach! He's excited to see her during the summer months. He's not "goo goo" over her but he has told her that "you're cute", lol!

Keeping with the RW theme, he was busy this past weekend. On Saturday he was awarded with a medal for CanSkate Champion

After the ceremony Daddy and RW jetted off to Londonderry Mall for Robbie's TKD promotion test. He's expected to walk away with his blue patch tonight!
